This issue is titled "Madmen & Prophets." They must be referring to fired Captain America penciler Rob Liefeld. This story's issue should actually be called "The Issue Where Galactus Goes Crazy." So that happens in this one. But artist Jim Lee and substitute Brett Booth have disappeared by this point. Marvel house artist Ron Lim does the pencils and they're really short of fantastic. I just thought I would post this one because it was the last one I had and you get to see another chapter in the storyline. The whole point of Heroes Reborn was to see Jim Lee drawing Marvel characters again and then he was reduced to drawing covers and supervising the other Heroes Reborn titles. I never understood why Brett Booth left the book. He was probably busy beating the crap out of Liefeld. I didn't buy FF issues again until Salvador Larroca started his run with volume 3 of the series. Next up: Heroes Reborn: The Return Mini-series by Larroca. Bauer out.

24 Hour Pizza Delivery Video
I just saw this fan film of the tv series "24." I thought it was hilarious, so I decided to post it here. Instead of Jack Bauer working as an agent for CTU he works as a pizza delivery man in this parody. This is a well done production. If you watched season 2 or 5 of "24" you should really appreciate some of the inside jokes. It's 6 minutes long. Enjoy the streaming video! Bauer out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles v1 Issue #8
The Turtles literally run into the beautiful Renet in this issue from 1986. Cerebus also guest stars. That little guy always seems to pop up in series you would never expect him to be in. I remember when I saw him appear in an early issue of Spawn. I never understood why he was in the story. He just was. Enjoy! Bauer out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles v1 Issue #7
Another high-action issue of the Turtles is coming right at you! A major storyline is resolved in this issue, but I'll let you read the issue to find out exactly what it is. Those triceratops just keep on coming and the Turtles keep smacking them around. I'd say it's about time for an April O'Neal exclusive. Bauer out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol. 1 Issue #6 (Color)
The Turtles are always in black and white, except in this issue. It must have been a gimmick issue or something because I don't think it ever happened again in the regular series. So if you ever wondered what one of Eastman and Laird's Turtle books would look like if they had it colored, wonder no more. Bauer out.

Batman's 2nd Appearance - Detective Comics #28
This is Batman's second appearance ever! A regular issue of Detective Comics back in 1939 usually consisted of 9 various detective-type stories. While this issue had only 6 pages for a Batman adventure, the story length varied every month. Although Batman was given his own series in 1940, "Batman" was only printed quarterly (52 pages of story!). Fans could still read Batman stories on a monthly basis in Detective Comics. Bauer out.

Spider-Man #1
This is the first issue of Spider-Man from 1990. At the time, this was the 4th regular monthly series of Spider-Man. The other series were Amazing Spider-Man (1963), Spectacular Spider-Man (1976), and Web of Spider-Man (1985). This first issue was the best selling single issue of a comic book, until X-Men #1 the following summer. If you have never read this one, prepare to be dazzled by Todd McFarlane's amazing splash pages, especially pages 2 to 3. McFarlane began penciling Spider-Man with issue #298 of Amazing Spider-Man and was the series' regular artist until issue #323. He also penciled issues 325 and 328 as he finished his run on that series. Next week I'll be posting issue #2 of this series. In the meantime enjoy the first part of the 5-issue storyline titled "Torment." Issues 6 and 7 of this series have already been posted. Bauer out.

Ghost Rider Commercial
While most major movies will not be promoted during the Super Bowl this weekend, there will be a Ghost Rider commercial during the Super Bowl pre-game show. Usually we see tons of upcoming blockbuster movie trailers during the Super Bowl, but sequels like Spider-Man 3, Pirates of the Carrabean 3, and Shrek 3 will not be involved this year. Bauer out.
