In this issue Raphael and Casey Jones visit the comic book store and end up getting attacked while flipping through the bargain bin. Those price were just too good to be true! All comic book fans should love this issue. This is the last issue that have from the Turtles' original series, but next week I'll be posting Tales of the TMNT by the Turtles original creators Eastman and Laird. Enjoy! Bauer out.

Star Wars Issue #3
"That's no moon. It's a space station." And we all know what space station that is. It's time to kick some Stormtrooper plastic. It's part three to the original Star Wars movie! There are some differences in the story even though these issues were released in 1977. Jedi will notice. Enjoy! Bauer out.

Star Wars #2
So you think you've seen the entire story to the original Star Wars? There are some surprises in this issue. Look for Jabba the Hutt in an early version from 1977. I guess they didn't tell the penciler that the Jabba and Solo scene would be cut from the original theatrical version. Also the answer to an age old question is put to rest here. Who shot first? Solo or Greedo. The confrontation as originally written. Enjoy! Bauer out.

Star Wars #1
This is one of the many reasons why you should make sure to bookmark "Jack Bauer's Headquarters." You just never know what big series will be posted next. Long before Dark Horse became the publisher of Star Wars comics, Marvel printed the first issue ever of Star Wars in 1977. This original Star Wars series revolves around all your favorite characters from the classic science fiction trilogy. The first few issues are based on the original movie and then we get a new batch of stories with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader, and those pesky Stormtroopers. Look for Star Wars #2 later this week. May the Force be with you! Bauer out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles v1 Issue #12
Okay, we're about a week away from the theatrical release of the computer animated Turtles movie. Did these gun-toting idiots break-in to spoil the Turtle's red carpet fun? They sure don't look like they're out deer hunting with those weapons. The Turtles will teach them a thing or two and then probably kick the shell out of them. Enjoy! Bauer out.

300 (5 Issues)
The movie 300 was the top movie in the box office this weekend. So why not take a look at the Frank Miller graphic novel that started it all? It was released as a 5-issue mini-series in 1998. See the last of the Spartans go to war against the huge Persian army. Just like the movie, this is mature content. Lots of violence in this storyline. Jeez, some of these guys need to wear some actual clothing. Enjoy! Bauer out.

Captain America #25 is Sold Out!
It didn't take long. Captain America Issue #25 sold out yesterday. Not only that, but copies of the issue are selling like crazy on EBay today. How crazy? The cover price for the issue was $3.99 USD. Today I witnessed a final bid for both covers of the issue for a whopping $200 USD. The variant cover (on the right) is no more rarer than the regular cover, since they were both printed with the same amount of copies. Witness the chaos on EBay here. Hopefully everyone who saw my posting about this issue yesterday got a chance to pick up a copy at cover price. Bauer out.
Detective Comics #33 (Batman)
It's amazing how much story they could pack into 12 pages back in 1939. It's cool to see Batman sneaking around in the dark in these early issues of Detective. He's such a complete opposite here from his 1950s and 60s version of the hero. Enjoy another issue of the Dark Knight! Bauer out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles v1 Issue #11
It's not easy living with the Turtles. Either they're fighting bad guys, in training, or on the run. Remember how April O'Neal, Casey Jones, and the Turtles stayed at that old house in the original movie? This is the issue where they visit that old house in the country, except what happens there is a little bit different from the movie version. This is the original story from June of 1987. Enjoy! Power Girl: The Classifieds Movie
Now you would expect a Catwoman fan film, but how about Power Girl? Power Girl has been making the rounds in the pages of DC Comics these days in series such as JSA Classified. Tawnya Manion does a great job in the first Power Girl video ever. This film relies on Tawnya's acting and hot bod to give us an idea of what would happen if Power Girl had to go out in the real world and find a paying job. It's funny and entertaining. If you pass the download link onto your friends make sure to mention that you found the video at Jack Bauer's Headquarters. Enjoy! Everyone have an awesome weekend! See you next week! Bauer out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles v1 Issue #10
The Shredder makes his way onto the scene in this next issue of the Turtles. And how about Casey Jones? He's ready give anyone a baseball bat to the head who looks at him funny. If you've never checked out the original Turtles stories this is the time to do so. You don't want to miss the knockout rumble in this issue. Also the new movie release date has been moved up a week in most countries to March 23rd. Enjoy the mayhem! Bauer out.

Bone Issue #18
Lucius goes head-to-head with Phoney and Smiley Bone in a friendly bar bet. They're playing for high stakes though. Also Thorn seems to be a little disturbed by the info that she's learned from Gran'ma Ben. Some stuff should just be left in the past. Enjoy! Bauer out.

Spider-Man Issue #5
I'm a little late posting today, but better late than never. Also I'll be posting a lot of issues in the next 24 hours to cover everything that I didn't get to yet this week. So don't worry if you haven't seen the next issue of whatever your favorite series is. All those Detective Comics uploads kind of messed up the schedule. This is the final issue in the "Torment" storyline. Spider-Man has basically had his butt handed to him in these five issues. What a way to begin a series. This is the final showdown between Peter, the Lizard, and those crazy hallucinations. If you finish reading this one, issues 6 and 7 were already posted on the blog in previous weeks. Enjoy! Detective Comics - 44 Issues! (Batman Stories)
There's only one post today. I found these issues a few days ago on the Internet and was able to grab them before the links were cruely deleted. Even though this is a large quantity of Detective Comics, I still have many more issues of this series to post on Jack Bauer's Headquarters that I have collected over the years. Celebrate Batman fans! Celebrate with these Golden Age gems! Bauer out.
