Detective Comics #659

Detective Comics #659
It's part 2 of the historic "Knightfall" Batman storyline. Batman has to re-capture all the villains who escaped Arkham. I think Bruce Wayne should have asked some of the other DC superheroes for at least a little assistance on tackling so many criminals at once. No sleep and no tv makes Bruce go batty.

There was a tie in the voting for Silver Age comics to return to this site. So not to disappoint Justice League of America or Amazing Spider-Man fans, both comics will return to this site. Your vote counts. Thanks to all who voted!

Iron Man v1 #25

Iron Man v1 #25
Only a few days left until the Iron Man movie. That's one worth seeing on the big screen.

X-Men v1 #57

X-Men v1 #57
The Sentinels had disappeared for years since the X-Men defeated them and Master Mold back in X-Men #16. But not even the reappearance of new Sentinels or Neal Adams' cutting edge artwork as regular penciler could save the X-Men from cancellation after issue #66. It's another classic Silver Age X-Men issue with Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey, Iceman, and Angel. Nuff' said.

Superman v2 #211

Superman v2 #211
Superman and Wonder Woman are supposed to be on the same side. They've even been together in the Justice League of America for decades. But something happens in this issue of Superman to change all that. Superman vs. Wonder Woman. Fists will fly. This is one of the key issues to Jim Lee's penciling run on Superman.

Scarlett Photo from GI Joe Movie

It's the first photo of Rachel Nichols in her costume that she'll be wearing as the character Scarlett in the upcoming GI Joe movie for next summer. The costume looks cool, but it looks nothing like the original 80s costume. Is everyone dressed in black in this movie?

I'm Power Girl Dammit!!! Movie (Repost)

One mov, QuickTime video file | 35.2 Mb | 05:00
Tawnya Manion is back to reprise the role of Power Girl from DC Comics. This time Power Girl meets up with Bizarro Superman in an abandoned building. Once again Tawnya makes this fan film work with her beauty and entertaining acting. There was actually a third Power Girl video released recently with her teaming up with Catwoman. There wasn't enough Power Girl in it and the story was just plain bad. None of the Catwoman videos have impressed me much. But they were made for free, so why complain? The first Power Girl video is still up and it's even a little longer than this one. Enjoy!

Tales of Witchblade #1

Tales of Witchblade #1
It's good to get a little variety. A little regular series Witchblade and some Tales of Witchblade. Tony Daniel pencils this 1st issue of this series in between his duties as The Tenth penciler. The first couple of issues of that series can still be found on this site. So you might want to check that out too.

Witchblade #18

Witchblade #18
The Darkness returns to join Witchblade for the first time since his 1st appearance in Witchblade #10. Since that time, the Darkness was given his own series where Jackie Estacado was given a chance to explore his new powers. It's a blessing and a curse.

Witchblade #17

Witchblade #17

Witchblade #16

Witchblade #16
Witchblade was clearly the winner of our first "what comic do want to see return?" poll. So I'll be posting issues 16 to 18 and the first issue of Tales of Witchblade. Issue 16 of Witchblade and issues 17 and 18 are penciled by Michael Turner. It pays to vote at Jack Bauer Headquarters. Look for another poll soon to determine future postings.

Spawn #45

Spawn #45
Tiffany returns to finish her battle with Spawn. Let's just say that things would never be the same after this story. Greg Capullo penciled this issue, while Tony Daniel did the previous one. Spawn was being released bi-monthly at this point in the series and Capullo and Daniel would pencil every other issue. It was a good time to be following Spawn.

Green Lantern v2 #13 (1st Flash appearance in Green Lantern)

Green Lantern v2 #13 (1st Flash appearance in Green Lantern)

Results to first poll

It seems that most of you out there hadn't heard about the Hulk turning red in the recent issues of the Hulk. I doubt that it will last long, but the Hulk has been red since issue #1 of this new Hulk series. Nobody knows the identity of the new Hulk yet. The Hulk will be green and have the secret identity of Bruce Banner in the June 13th movie. Hopefully the Hulk will be back to green in the comics by then. Let's see some more votes for this next poll. There's a lot more than 8 visitors to this site.
